Her multifaceted career also included years as a Licensed Family Therapist, Licensed Hospital Administrator, School Counselor and Art Therapist. Her creative works have been exhibited at the de Young Museum, San Francisco, awards from Cal-Expo; Los Gatos Art Association and Santa Clara Art Club. Her watercolor rendition of Los Gatos' Old Town won her the promotional advertising for the current art show. Truly an art entrepreneur, Joyce's focus has long been watercolors of scenic Tahoe and most recently renditions of several historic Placerville homes. She adds variety to her work to include wall murals with commissions in Chicago, Phoenix, Los Gatos and Monte Sereno, California. Walls of Monet's famous water lilies can be seen at "The Seasons Bed & Breakfast" in Placerville. Her artistic background also includes her fondness for creating painted, wearable art, winning 2nd prize in the national Costume.com competition; painted furniture and teaching Art Journaling... |
